AJ: Daddy, you're so LAZY! and
Mommy is so MAARTE! and
I am a BEAUTIFUL GIRL!

Daddy: Do you even know what Maarte means? And you are Maarte.
AJ: No you are maarte.
Daddy: Do you know what Maarte means?
AJ: NO!

Nyahaha...

In times like this I just wish the hubs was able to capture it on video so we could just watch it over and over if we wanted something to laugh about and we can also send it to her grand parents to see how funny she can be at times hahaha…. I googled the word MAARTE and here's what I found. There's no direct translation of the word. But usually, Maarte is used to describe a girl (most of the time) who acts too girly or flirty. It's also used to describe people who care too much about a certain things, mainly about their looks but also being a perfectionist. If people notice that you care a lot about a certain thing, they could possibly call you MAARTE.
