Arrrgghhh...

Ugh! ACNE! PIMPLES! WATEVA!

I didn’t really have acne problems during my teen years and now I’m breaking it out like there’s no tomorrow. It looks absolutely HORRID. I tried using the PROACTIV SOLUTION but rather than helping it makes it WORSE. Wahhh!!! Now I look like a clown! SHUCKS!!!

GIVE THANKS EVERYDAY!

A simple 'THANK YOU" is enough to brighten anyone's day!

Sometimes we look at all the bad things and we forget to notice the good things around us. There is good in everyone (I believe!). It just takes a little more effort to see it in some. It doesn't take but a minute; sadly there are so many that never stop and appreciate even the little things in life (Are you one of them? Well, that's just SAD. But it's never too late). These are the things that we take for granted. Look at everything around you; even the little things: a kind neighbor (BIG Thanks to Ate Thelma for being a gracious host this THANKSGIVING as always ^-^), a coworker, a pet, the birds and butterflies, flowers (if you happen to see one give it a sniff.), your job (no matter how hard it is be thankful you got one), your car, the things in your home, a good warm bed, YOUR FRIENDS and FAMILIES (y'know these people will stick with you no matter what... HIGHS OR LOWS), Your HEALTH (a big plus!), etc. What if you didn't have these things? It's never too late to tell someone how much you appreciate them. A little goes a long way and it doesn't cost a cent. TRY IT!

My Favorite Chocolate Candy!

Oh my Gosh! I flipped out when I saw this at the WORLD MARKET. Y'know, I've been trying to find these babies since forever. And when I did, I was grinning ear to ear. People might be wondering why I'm talking to myself. The hell I care. If only I won't look stupid, I might have done the happy dance right there. Bwahaha. Dear hubs was like “LABS! Ang babaw mo.” Tsehhh!!! Life’s simple pleasures my labs. (Whatever! At least I’m happy) I was so excited to tell him that I just found my ever paborit chocolate candy. I couldn't stop my grin. Call me weird but I prefer this rather than the ever famous expensive LINDT and GODIVA. I'm so freaking happy I can't contain myself. Even AJ declared it's now her favorite chocolate candy ^-^. Why do I love this chocolate candy so much, you may ask? Well, it melts in your mouth that's why. It reminds me so much of my Mom who loves to send this candy when she was working abroad. (Overseas) It brings back Memory. HAPPY MEMORIES I WOULD SAY.

Anyways, I brought this at work and shared some of them to my co-workers. BIG MISTAKE! Syet! Now they're asking me that it is what they want for Christmas. What the heck! Obligahin ba! Wahhhh!!!

Me: Ok ( BIGLANG HIRIT NIYA)

Aj: CAN I DRIVE MY OWN CAR WHEN I'M 10 YEARS OLD?

Me: WHAT? OF COURSE NOT!

Aj: WHY MOMMY? WHY?

Me: You're too young to drive anak. Maybe you can drive your own car when your 16 and only if you promise to behave real well.

Aj: Ok....Ok.....Ok

POOR SEBASTIAN!
I love eating crawfish. When Aj saw me ate this. She was like. Oh No! Your eating Sebastian. "POOR SEBASTIAN" ( Sebastian is from Ariel's movie. He is a lobster. A crawfish looks like a tiny little lobster) She's quite observant, dont you think?

WHAT CAN I SAY???...

SECRET? I guess, not anymore...harhar

AJ: Daddy I have a secret.

Dad: What is your secret?

AJ: I have a bear. I am going to give it on your birthday.

Since dear hubs birthday is just around the corner I asked her what she wanted to give her Dad. She wanted to give him a blue bear (dad's favorite color) but unfortunately, they don't have it at Build a Bear so she opted for the brown one and chose the SUPERMAN outfit. Which I think was so cute and named it SUPER DAD. (Awww!) She bathed it twice (okay it's a pretend) so it won't be stinky. (Daw! that's according to her) After we left, I asked her if she can keep it a secret. She promised that she won’t say anything. So what do you expect from a FOUR year old? Yeah! Your guess is as GOOD as MINE harhar....
I tried so hard to warn her but it didn't work. Good thing was he doesn't know what it looks like. He just knows it's a bear and that's it. I bet it's going to melt his heart when he sees it. Well, she almost actually gave it away; they were both watching JUSTICE LEAGUE (w/c by the way one of hub's favorite to watch) when she saw SUPERMAN guess what she said "DAD I HAVE A SURPRISE FOR YOU" Again. Hay! (What can I say; I was just glad she didn't say HEY! THAT'S MY SURPRISE for you. nyahahaha....) Don’t let Mommy down K, KIDDO! RIGHT!!! (Note to self don't expect too much from a four year old harhar...)

JULY 2007 NEW YORK BIG 3-0 CELEBRATION!

THE CITY THAT NEVER SLEEP! DEFINITELY!

No matter what you like to see and do, you can find it in New York State!
Last time I’ve been to New York was seven years ago. That’s when I celebrated my 23rd b-day. Gosh! Now that I’m 30 I feel old. Waaahhh!!! My consolation is I don’t look it. BLEH! If you happen to disagree then tell it to the moon…like I need your approval! HMP!!!
New York naturally offers something for everyone. Let’s talk about SHOPPING. Do you love shopping? Who doesn’t, right? Then treat yourself to a weekend shopping spree to any malls your hearts desire. If money is not an issue you should visit SAKS FIFTH AVENUE the world’s most famous shopping street in Manhattan. Absolutely Shop Till You Drop! (Gosh! I’m so jealous. Darn! How lucky can you be?) But if you’re looking for great deals just like moi who is always on a look-out for the best value – for- your money shopping places that offers that try outlet store. Visit the famous factory outlet (WOODBURY COMMON PREMIUM OUTLET), where you will find quality items at affordable price. Please don’t wear heels for goodness sake! (Your feet will thank you later) Yeah, I should have known better. *sigh *

Most of the popular sights in New York are located in Manhattan- The Empire State Building, the Rockefeller Center, Museum of Modern Art, the Chrysler Building, the United Nations and Roosevelt Island are in Midtown (unfortunately we weren’t able to visit all the place I mentioned here. There’s just not enough time.). There’s also the Central Park located at the center of Manhattan (I think). Times Square is in Downtown, and it’s known for its many Broadway theaters, cinemas and super signs. The Statue of Liberty, as well as Ellis Island is in Lower Manhattan.
If you stay in Manhattan you would basically remember just three things that you were in Uptown, Midtown and Downtown or so I think. There’s more to see but don’t just take my word. Go visit and see it for yourself.

Now let’s talk about food. New York Restaurants will please everyone’s palate. Any dish that you can think of, you’ll find it here! Don’t forget to visit some of the Filipino Restaurants in Queens? Bring your appetite and prepare to have your taste buds dance with delight. Oh Yeah! And before you leave New York you should try Juniors Cheesecake it is well known for its fabulous strawberry cheesecake. YUM-O! No Kidding!

No matter what type of tour you choose, you’re bound to have a memorable experience.

The things that I don’t like in New York were the traffic due to road constructions, accidents and others. I just hate traffic. Let’s not forget the Toll fees. Geez man I felt like I was robbed harhar…Parking was hard and the parking fees are just a killer.

A big shout out to my dearest hubs, he really knows the way to my heart. Thanks to YOU my ever generous hubs. YOU’RE THE BEST AS ALWAYS! MUAH! LIFE’S GOOD, ALL’S GOOD!

Anyways, we had a reservation at Marriot Courtyard Hotel but had to cancel at the last minute because my ever procrastinator hubby called a friend 1 day before the trip to let him know that we are coming for a visit and hubs proudly announce that I would be celebrating my big 3-0 there. Gosh! Did he really need to mention that? (Harhar)
Go figure!

This friend of ours graciously offered his place. We gladly accepted his offer. It was very nice of him to invite us and invade his place. He even take good care of our little angel AJ while dear hubs and I browsed and Shopped. I’m not going to mention his name because I don’t think he would like that. Anyways, if you’re reading this I just want to thank you and your beloved significant other, we really do appreciate it. Hope you can visit us here sometime soon.

I was very happy to finally see my good friend Aileen and her family because it’s been a while since we last saw each other. Hope to see them here in NC real soon. I miss you my dearest friend.

MY FUNNY AJ

My FUNNY CHILD.......
Me: Come on piglet.
AJ: Mom stop calling me name. DO I LOOK LIKE A PIG???
****************
Me: You can call me Mommy PORKCHOP.
AJ: NO! We're not pigs. We're HUMANS.
****************
Me: Can I bite you?
AJ: No
Me: Why not?
Aj: Because you might hurt me and I'm going to cry.
